The prototype deck is here and I've gone ahead and kicked off production. Despite the chaotic madness of trying to deal with sourcing this deck in the middle of idiotic tariffs, I think I've found a print shop that will allow me to keep quality and pricing roughly the same.

I'm going to fund this out of pocket to hopefully lock in the pricing, then probably launch the Kickstarter once the decks are all here already.

In the past, I’ve gotten around Lenormand’s limited representation of human figures by extending the decks and adding additional significator cards. This time around I’m trying to keep to the original 36 but I’ve added humanoid figures to a few of the other cards to try to provide more options. They are meant to still work with the same meanings as the animal cards, but create a kind of dual use for these additional cards. This is one of them.

In the past, I’ve expanded the Lenormand out from 36 cards to 54 to give more representation, but for this one I had a different plan. I’m keeping the 36 standard cards but some of the animal cards have humanoid figures in them to add a little extra representation and choice to the deck. These will double up with the Entity cards to let people choose some different signifier cards if they’d like.
