Todays #stupidprojectoftheday... I have set up a small #musicserver using #moodeaudio , #RaspberryPiZero2W , #pidacpro and a random #satausbhub from #aliexpress... My twitchy brain wants to make it portable... ish... not necessarily full ipod style but maybe physical controls and a screen so it doesn't need an MPD client or to use the web interface... I really need to set up my blog again properly and start using it... lol...

Well... day job done... #Kidizoom thoroughly butchered... #oops.. but managed not to shred the camera ribbon which seems to be what other have done... time for some poking and some #research into what is on it and if anything is salvagable... or if it's just a case that i could have 3d printed a case rather than making the mess that I did... #picamera advice welcomed! 😁

Well... #pi4 #raspberrypi for size comparison... seems like this idea might have legs... I have many #PiZero2W and even a #computemodule5 if I need to save more space... if only I didn't have a day job to work on this...

#stupidprojectoftheday I bought this #vtech #Kidizoom digital camera with built in thermal printer from a charity shop for £2 (ish?)... i would kind of like to either upgrade the camera... as its a kids toy it isn't great... or try to convert the printer to USB for #linux or even #serial to work with #retrocomputers... i have no idea where to start or how to do it.. but putting it here may make me feel like i should do something with it.., lol...

Look what I found!!!!! My #zxomni!! For those not in the know its a #zxspectrum128k on an fpga with a #divmmc built in... havent used it in an age... havent done any #speccy stuff in an age!! time to change that! Wonder if anything needs updating?

Cleaned up easily with some IPA! Was being overly paranoid! Thabks for all the help peeps! Now i just need to test everything and work out how to get s-video out of a scart switch... #alwaysaproject #nevertheeasyway

Bought 3x 'gold' Masterplug Performance scart to s-video cables still sealed for £2.50 each, when I took them out all 3 had this green stuff on the scart end. Any ideas what it could be? #scart #electronicshelp #retrovideo #retrogaming can i just clean them with ipa?
