Corn progress part 2: next year we'll try planting along the brick wall in the back with a trellis for the beans. Beans and corn are companion plants that benefit one another by supplementing the soil with nutrients the other needs. Hopefully this will yield a better crop!

Corn progress part 1: I planted a few too many seeds, thinking they wouldn't all sprout...but I was very wrong! Planted with beans, but the beans did not do well with the cages provided, so next year we'll try a trellis.
