Big rockets cause big explosions. Yesterday's blow-up of the New Glenn not only destroyed the rocket, but also the launch pad. IF they manage to build a new rocket, they also need to build completely new facilities, as no pad is big enough to launch such a monster. Which adds another 15 months and a few hundred million dollars extra to the bill.
