#DefendOurJuries organises protests against the UK's ban on #PalestineAction. DOJ says that 2,787 people had been arrested under the ban.

The ban remains in force pending an appeal. So up to 2,787 people still face onerous bail restrictions

BUT if the Appeal Court upholds the ban's overturning, then that's 2,787 wrongful arrest cases. The compensation bill will be huge.

And there will be many other cases, esp the #Filton24 who have been treated as terrorists in prison.

The really striking bit pointed out that if the land in the US currently being used for biofuels for cars was converted to solar panels and batteries and even if we neglected even more efficient land use like agrivoltaics, the USA could more than power itself (including EV cars) without impacting food production.
