None of the (VGA equipped) displays I tested with, old (early 2000s) and modern, could get a sharp picture. You'd get wavy lines across the screen. Auto adjust did the best it could, and the manual adjustments only moved where exactly the wavy lines manifested.
However, I own more gebakjes than this one, so don't worry. It'll be fun.
And there will be more surprises!
And yes, I just got a VGA -> HDMI adapter today, so I'll redo a bunch of the testing soon. Who knows what might happen.

The scaling is obviously made worse because the C3VOC framegrabber is going to have to scale it again to 1920x1080 using an entirely different method.
This terrible scaling mode is the only way to get 16 bit color. If you leave it at 800x600 you are stuck with 256 colors.
My slides are going to have photos. It's terrible. I get to pick either terrible color banding, or terrible scaling artifacts.
To make it worse, the VGA output is objectively terrible.

So I did some testing, and it is cursed.
It only does 800x600.
The driver offers 1024x786 but when you touch it, it BSOD's. Not joking. You have to go to safe mode (twice, somehow) to get it to work again.
It also offers 640x480. But what it really does is nearest neighbour scaling from 640x480 to 800x600 and sending that out of it's VGA port (and mirroring the exact same on it's built-in display. No speaker notes on your 2nd screen in this era).

A Dutch bank (Triodos Bankieren NL) has added explicit support for GrapheneOS and will be testing it going forward:
https://github.com/PrivSec-dev/banking-apps-compat-report/issues/133#issuecomment-3087638715
They join a growing number of banking apps actively permitting users to use a much more secure device instead of trying to ban it instead.
@smveerman I remember that too!
I also remember that they re-made the entire thing. I found in 2018 when I found that old VHS somewhere in my moms house.
I wanted to check if they still existed, and I found out they re-created the entire thing!
