I posted on Saskatoon Cycles Facebook forum last eve. Full text in description.

"The intersection where Darren was killed is busy, has poor sight lines, has a pedestrian beg button but there's no sound to tell you if it is activated. It is dangerous & scary to walk across, let alone cycle. Cars are going fast. Both streets... What a mess."

YORK FACTORY EXPRESS, BLOGPOST:
The men of the incoming York Factory Express have now been away from their home quarters for some five months now, and all are beginning to tire of this never-ending journey up the #Saskatchewan and North Saskatchewan Rivers. But they are least heading for home, having passed Fort Pitt and on their way to #Edmonton House. #HBC #History #Blogpost #OnTheirWayHome http://nancymargueriteanderson.com/sixteenth-leg/

I will attach this device to a tree which is home to a nest of honeybees in order to attempt a "trap out" with my apiculture class. The honeybees will leave the nest but be unable to find a way back in and settle into an adjacent hive box instead.

The odds of getting the colony successfully established in the box with a queen are not high, but it is a unique opportunity for my students and I to learn the technique.

Hint 2: It relates to wayward livestock.
Hint: I'm teaching an apiculture course.
It's craft time in the lab this evening! Who can guess what I just built?
