Game of Frostgrave this weekend at Ilford Wargames Club. Played the mausoleum scenario from the rule book.
I love this mission as an introduction to the game as Frostgrave really shines when there are some monsters on the board for the players to think about.
It's been a while since I got Miss Havisham (Wizard) and Estella (Apprentice) to the table. A fun game, where both players retrieved 3 treasures and collected some good XP.
The Tower of London was looking very pretty last night, feels like spring might be here already.
Based on a 52 Miniatures video I've been playing around with makeup sponges as an alternative to dry brushing and been getting some nice (and fast) results.
The model is an objective marker printed on my Bambu A1 with 0.2mm nozzle and the sponge does a much better job at hitting the edges without highlighting the FDM layers.
It has been 0 days since I've had to explain the difference between OneNote and OneDrive.
Dear Microsoft, having more unique names for your collaboration tools would help less experienced users onboard quicker.

Very late to the party but I've just discovered Slow Horses. Jackson Lamb is the best on-screen version of John Constantine I've ever seen.
He uses experience, knowledge and bluff to own every encounter, getting one over on people far more powerful. All topped off with a beige trench coat and chain smoking!
The best thing about Heroquest is priming the doors!
First session using Army Painter airbrush primer after getting disappointing results with Pro Acryl primer (otherwise love their paint range). A much nicer experience, no clogs, good coverage with a 2 parts primer to 1 part thinner. The rest of the paint job will be simple dry brushing and some detail work.

A brilliant game of Warmaster Revolution today with Kyle. It's been a while since I played so a bit rusty with the rules, but a great game with a great opponent!
As tends to happen with Warmaster, the game was decided by order dice, with Kyle failing to get a charge off, which meant I could charge in the next turn. The charging player gets a huge advantage with the game, having a big dice bonus as well as deciding where to attack.

Locutus and Riker teams are done for Star Trek Away Missions. These are really fun models to paint, I even had a go at doing the eyes, which mostly turned out ok.
Next up on the painting shelf is the Gowron team, which I'm really looking forward to!
