Trochosa terricola -Almindelig Bjørneedderkop -Ground Wolf Spider.
I accidentally disturbed a blue-black spider wasp (Anoplius sp) as it was hauling a huge wolf spider back to it's burrow. I don't know if the spider eventually recovered from the venom, or the wasp returned for it once the coast was clear. I regret that I didn't wait a while to see how it turned out.

Another day, another gorgeous spider. This time a wonderful little jumper I found on a steep sandy hillside near Sønderborg. Heliophanus sp.
There are a few of this genus present in Denmark and it would seem you have to kill them and look at their genitals under a microscope to get the species. It could be Heliophanus cupreus or Heliophanus flavipes.
Its a stunning litte spood either way.
