Hm. Now that I think about it, maybe I’m a seagull.
Games like Spiderman and the Arkham games have really made me appreciate the beauty of “soar above the city, dive down and cause a ruckus” and repeat. So satisfying.

Today I'm going to continue hacking on a website from scratch using Guile Scheme!

The goal for today is to use the package information we acquired in the last stream to flesh out and improve the SQL schema and data model for Emacs packages.

We'll also update the website templating to display more details and hopefully look a bit nicer!

Join us here at 07:30 UTC (in around 10 minutes!):

The @lonelinesscorps tag is for anyone btw. Just a tool to help battle social isolation.

Follow it for increased randomness in your life and a chance to connect. Shake up your silos, find your people, find people you didn't even know could be your people.

Use the tag to start a conversation when yer bored, initiate fun shared online events, share ideas for meatspace community building, and just any other random connections and fun.

Playing Sifu now and 99% sure that the guy I knocked out was just the bartender, not a henchman.

Joy is to fun what the deep sea is to a puddle. It’s a feeling inside that can hardly be contained.

Finished reading Debbie Tung’s graphic novel “Everything is Ok”. It’s beautifully illustrated and is just a very positive story about having people that can be leaned on for support and the value of #therapy helping you build a base work for a better mindset. Heartily recommend!

Starting to go through my game library backlog and today’s game was QUBE2. It’s a really great puzzler with a fun game mechanic - you summon cubes (or maybe it’s qubes!?).

The cubes all have different powers and can interact with each other and each batch of levels has added extra twists. Like the last level I played introduced an oil slick that can also be lit on fire.

There’s also a story but I tend to space out and want to just get to the puzzles immediately. :)
