Fortran from the Ultima Dragon days. Co-host on the @StarWarsBeyond podcast (currently in carbonite ^_^).

Don't be like me and not notice the Hide UI button on Wow's character select screen when taking a screenshot of your warband (or single character). Oops.

I, too, want to be a "Technical to awareness".

Of course I had to buy one since it was on sale, even if the particular cable is just average. :)

Hints that one of your MMOs is in maintenance mode? When the following is still in the daily login rewards screen one year and eight months later. ^_^

So, a wild APAC #Swtor server reappears. :)

Antidepressants or Tolkien's character?

The #Wow #Blizzcon announcements have happened and I'm sort of virtually shrugging my shoulders. There's some nice QoL features (or start of features, eg Warbands) mentioned, but for the most part I just feel like hitting the snooze button until closer to release.
This is just a small reminder to please remember to use the tools provided to you by social media sites. This means to like / favorite the things you enjoy and to mute / block those who you find problematic. It will make your time on each site just a bit better for you. The fun things can be easily revisited and the ugly things can be tossed out as trash.
Our new kitten, Scout. We had forgotten how much energy a four month old kitten has, so getting a decent picture while he is still may take some time. :)
As a casual player in #warcraft these days I've finally been motivated to stop using out-of-date addons. If it doesn't support the current patch it gets removed. If it was a favorite addon I'll monitor it to see if it gets updated and return to using it. Sadly, too many addons just get stopped with no warning. I fully understand life getting in the way of a hobby, but at least leave a message saying you aren't going to maintain something any longer. :sigh:
A lot of commenters don't understand (or don't give a shit to learn) how great the positive, constant cash-flow of #swtor means to a business. This is a massive opportunity for Broadsword. Yes, they will make mistakes. Bioware made mistakes. Every developer makes mistakes. As an MMO company with a new, high visibility game, Broadsword isn't going to let this one fade. There's just too much money there to let the game rot. Swtor can be a huge tide that would lift all of their MMOs.
