And then you begin calling around for 3 hours and realize that nobody the vaccine.gov website says has the vaccines -- actually have vaccines.

And then you call corporate, and ask, "Well, if mRNA vaccine uptake is so poor, why don't you order Novavax"?

And the district pharmacy director asks you: "What's Novovax"?

And then you, a lawyer, has to educate a medical professional on health, safety, and demographic issues.

And then you give up and make an appointment in a neighboring blue state and your vaccine costs 10 times as much because you had to miss work and spend the gas money.

The US is probably just one bad election away from becoming an autocratic dictatorship. Russia and China are already police states with one-party rule. The #CitiBike bikeshare program has e-bikes & pedal bikes. E-bikes cost money to use; pedal bikes are free to members.

If a bike station has no pedal bikes available, only e-bikes, you can get a free e-bike ride.

"Wrenching" is pressing the 'wrench' button (marking a bike as broken) on every pedal-bike in the station so you get a free e-bike ride. The 'broken' bikes remain disabled & unusable for everyone until the techs come out to replace them.
