"By the time I got there, there was no-one there" sounds perfectly normal to say but has altogether too much "there" in it.
I'm in my ad-hoc era, by which I mean that I find myself saying "ad-hoc" a lot.
Either they're tedious to watch or the audio version is 70% incomprehensible.

very angry about the concept of time

I mean, just look at this nonsense. It has the general form of an explanation of cryptic clues, but it's outrageously superficial, to the point of identifying the letter count as the hint. And there's no cryptic component to the clue. A reminder if one were needed that these language models exhibit familiarity, not comprehension.
After a flash of curiosity, I've discovered that no, ChatGPT isn't much good at cryptic crossword clues, be that solving them or explaining pre-solved clues (it's not uncommon to find the answer without fully understanding how the clue works).
