Tommy would expect his partner/wife to raise the child(ren), and if she was unable to take up the role, there would be a list of those he calls family, from the Marauders, who would adopt the child(ren) as their own.

Another figure, at the far end of the street, has turned that corner at the same time.
Both of you stop and you try to determine if you know that person.
You raise your right hand and wave, only to stop when the other person raises their left hand and waves, stopping at the exact moment as you .
You both look around before turning your attention back to the other person.
"Do I know you?" Two mouths, with a single voice...

Just an IMHO - "nothing" + "nor" with "anyone" does not gel for me and "the" instead of "their" feels better.
Take it with a "pinch of salt" from a proofreader! 😜
