Did Ron Desantis just say he was a Navy Seal?
Opioids are the opiate of the masses.
One of the many wrong lessons the DCEU learned from the MCU: Other than Hulk and Spiderman, pre-2008, nobody really cared about individual Avengers characters. So if you're making Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, etc., you better tease a team-up along the way. If you're working with the Super Friends, there's no reason to do this. A movie focused on an individual superhero loses impact when we are reminded that they live in a world full of superheroes.
I don't like using Python because it's not good for what I like to do. I want to either be in the details, looking so hard for a clever hack that it shows up in my dreams *or* (in the case that this wheel's already been invented) very simply snapping together canned modules. I have no appetite for tedium (dependencies, etc.) when I'm trying to apply other people's solutions.
Here's how bad 9-figure-budget movies get made: You need to schedule people, locations, release, etc. years in advance. So they start doing this before the script is really perfect, assuming it will improve by the time they start shooting. Two problems with this: 1) a script takes as long as it takes; and 2) you are now constrained by the resources that were assembled for the earlier version of the script.
An endless diet of bad movies & TV lauding casino capitalists and the virtue of violence nurtures a fascist mindset.
I'm not quite elderly yet, but I am at a stage of life when I consider, when encountering a pile/drawer of my junk, papers, etc., what it will look like to my kids dealing with it when I'm dead.
I'm going on the record: Oppenheimer will be the feel-ggod romp.and Barbie will be the dark movie that leaves you pondering your existence.
I'm working on a parody of Three Minute Hero by The Selecter, but it's "Three-Digit Elo".
(if you like chess and ska this is fucking hilarious)
