Just so we’re 1000% clear: no state or local government should be giving financial incentives to build a data center. If anything, it should come with increased taxation—because wherever they go, they gobble up water and energy. They should be paying locals for the privilege of being tolerated.

My job is embracing Copilot, though we're not required to use it. Special trainings are being held to learn how to use it, and my manager even asked if I was interested in using it in my annual review. (I lied.)

I work for a life insurance carrier. I won't be surprised if Copilot leaks confidential policyholder and agent information, like Social Security numbers. Plus this AI bullshit kills the environment.

But it seems like my coworkers and leadership are embracing this wholeheartedly, sadly.
