One of the 10+ years running jokes with Eldest is when a Linkin Park song plays and I say "If you like this song you might like this band called Linkin Park"
Shooting lefthanded I hit the bullseye on the first try. A revelation.
Left handed shooting feels really natural, except my right shoulder has been conditioned by thousands of large gauge shot gun blasts over 50 years, and my left shoulder, never. Ouch.
"Fix this code" lol
My whole life I've aimed with my left eye and shot right handed. This new gun makes that hard and the AI suggested something I never considered: shoot left handed. And I think it might work.
Am I battling the effing rats of NIMH? I shot one once and now they are only active on the opposite side of the run where I can't get a clean shot through the wire.

In related news, the AI suggested using my 12 gauge side by side shot gun to kill rats in my urban backyard is apparently somewhat hilariously Not Recommended.
I was able to some years ago eliminate the rats that are attracted to scattered feed from the chickens using bait mixed with plaster, but in true rat adaptation, the ones now have survived 4 weeks of bait. We'll now see if they can outsmart a 950fps air rifle.
The 14 year old demolished 75% of this, Eldest is out of town on a camping trip.
