Ah that was a blast. Over eleven thousand people donned their finest, throw away red or blue Santa suits and walked jogged or ran the #liverpoolsantadash for Alder Hey NHS Trust.
So many in fact that as we left the finishing line some were still crossing the start 😄
swissletRandomly just found this on the marathon photos site. It’s me about to cross the finish of the 2018 Chester Marathon in 3h58m - beating my PB by something like 22 minutes. If I look emotional, it’s because I am. I have #MultipleSclerosis and I never imagined this could be possible for me. I can’t run like that anymore, but this is the proof that I did.
Today I had Ocrevus via a subcutaneous injection. It’s been fine so far. No marks or trace of it by the evening. I had the premeds orally, so the side effects hit me a bit differently. Being faster is a great advantage for me so I’m a convert.
