I'm finally back to working on costuming stuff. This is part of a set of metal accessories for a specific Aragorn costume. I originally made a similar piece based on a 3D model that someone else built, but after seeing better reference, I redesigned it myself. This version is made by masking steel with vinyl (cut on a Silhouette Cameo), then electro-etching the pattern. The surrounding shape is then cut with a scroll saw before being polished. This will eventually be layered onto a brass base and used as a clasp to hold a cape onto the shoulders.
