BLUF: After ignoring warnings, a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet launched from USS George H.W. Bush disabled two Iranian-flagged oil tankers, the Sea Star III and the Sevda, on May 9. The aircraft fired precision munitions into their funnels, disabling propulsion without sinking either vessel. CENTCOM released a video of both strikes.
