Language and identity
(Nimue) Most of us learn some kind of communication so early in life that we do not remember what it was like to be without language. As babies, our minds are hard-wired to learn how to communicate, and we start learning from arrival. Those of us who can, acquire languages in a multi-sensory way, reading and listening, speaking and writing. Our human languages are a mesh of sound, symbol and concepts.
