We aren't just now beginning to experience fascism.
We have lived with this forever, and maybe now that it's this glaringly bad, we will have a real shot to not live in it anymore. A shot to do something about it. But IDK.
I keep vascillating between "we are gunna be ok" and "it's time to leave the US".
I think ultimately I have to believe the former. Yes Trump is gunna get some people killed. But I think the moment they try anything broad, the people peacefully protesting now will also be glad to engage in self defense for their community.
The amount of people already foiling ICE, protesting outside detention centers, fighting in the courts, etc... that's nontrivial. We have a real shot here.

I feel emboldened to do what is right. To live as I am. I don't care what right-wing-whiners say about gender or sexuality or religion. They are flatly wrong; they can cry all they like
I don't need their consent to be queer. They cannot redefine what is true. It is actually a joke to me that they think they can-Like trying to control a river.
