I like to maintain professional relationships with places I've previously worked, and with competitors. It keeps competition clean, fair, and friendly, as competition should be.

Watching CNN trying and failing to pronounce "Skagit" was a treat. With all the other funny local names (Puyallup, Sequim, Snohomish, Stillaguamish...), though, it makes me begin to think Washington State is the US' version of the Welsh.
Good morning. Washington is flooding. Lots of people are going to lose their homes, including people I know. I know there are places pooh-poohing it because Washington is always moist, but the Skagit River cresting at 11ft above flood stage is serious shit.
