@mav
I am having a hard time addressing your points because it’s far off from where I’m coming from…I know you’re angry.
FWIW
I see folks in other countries talk about US tariffs as opposed to Trump tariffs.
While the tariffs and saber rattling talk is directly harmful to our neighbors and allies, or what was our allies, I feel there is a lack of understanding of the deep sweeping harm being committed by Trump against Americans. At least as reflected by some recent toots.
The worst atrocities are the repeated violation of human rights and ignoring court orders intended to stop those violations.
Personally I think it is/was worthwhile trying every possible course of action to avoid the few options left once the courts are ignored…
I’ve read at least a dozen analyses of the election that conclude trump’s win does not represent the popular vote. It’s been a couple months. I’m sure you can find those articles if you didn’t read them. You’ll have a dozen that conclude to the contrary.
Musk bought votes in Pennsylvania. That is a fact. The DA filed charges. Somehow nothing came of the case? He just did the same thing in Wisconsin. Regardless that this time it wasn’t effective (barely), How the fuck is this okay IN A DEMOCRACY?
We, Americans, are being subjected to an increasingly tightening band of authoritarian rule.
My intent is to ask others to not equate an authoritarian’s actions with the people under authoritarian rule.
