Beer brewing, wild yeast harvesting, wine making, and other adventures in fermentation with (very little) help from a dog. Rarely updated website at mutedog.beer

@stojg to be fair, most of the elderbush is also toxic...

@JohnLAlford @grammasaurus I feel like there's also a difference between outright human caused atrocities vs a plague (not that plagues aren't human caused, but you know what I mean).

Who wants to relieve the worst moments of their life through song? Does your family have a song passed down reliving the death of your great great grandmother? Or are there stories about how great a person she was? How someone dies doesn't matter (most of the time) compared to how they lived.

@grammasaurus @inquiline it makes sense, in a way, who wants to remember that awful time?
@wannabemystiker it seems obvious, so hopefully it'll get implemented. But if you know any diplomats from not the US, send it on to them. I don't need credit for the idea, it just needs to happen.
My own post filters have blocked me from seeing my own post, LOL

Trump is adding his obnoxious image to US passports. So it is absolutely the duty of every other country to make some sort of passport stamp that makes him look like a clown or more of an idiot or something. I'm sure Denmark is probably up to this task, but it'd be great if loads of countries did this. Someone spread this idea to those consulants that can make this happen.

Bottling the plum wine. I need to make room for the blackberry wine that will need to be pressed soon.

@BlurredPixels I've heard about that but never tried it myself. Maybe next year. I try not to harvest ALL of the flowers because my bees really like them.
@BlurredPixels I've done something similar but added sugar and let it ferment for elderflower champagne. Didn't add it to a beer though. It turned out pretty well.
@BlurredPixels I put them into the boiling wort right when I turn off the fire and start cooling it so they're steeping in hot wort for only a few minutes
