@makavel_i I'm assuming this AmigaSYS 4 is installed on your boot drive. (I need to try AmigaSYS 4 AGA to see what it's like)

Okay, when you reboot your system, immediately press both mouse buttons to get into the early boot menu then select "Boot without startup sequence" It should give you the kickstart screen where it tells you the ROM version.

@makavel_i You dont have to open it. It's displayed on the boot image, when you boot up without a disk or hdd.

@PastaThief This is for a diskmag project a friend is doing. Someone who is emulating can switch Kickstart ROM as they need to. Unless they have a switcher, people with real hardware cannot easily switch their kickstart ROM. So it's more from that angle.
I'm not anti-emulation if that's what you're wondering.

@robleaves Yes, that's right, the TX7 doesnt have a cartridge, other than that it's pretty much identical.
Sweet, you got a UB-xa. It's meant to be pretty close from the demos i've watched on it.
I am after the UB-xa D, the desktop version of what you have.
The Matrix 1000.. Don't give me any more ideas haha i've already got a few things on my list which I would love to have. I fear looking into this in case I have one more thing on the list now 😃
