What is A2CDVI? It is a new RP2040 based device running the A2C_DVI firmware by Mike Neil. It plugs into the video port on the back of an Apple IIc or IIc+ and generates digital video signal to output to a modern monitor via an HDMI cable.

Today’s #MARCHintosh purchase, hopefully it arrives before it is over. This is the last of the compact Mac form factors to add to my collection. May the luck of the Irish be upon this machine as it travels across the continent.
Yesterday I got my new to me server tacked and connected to #GlobalTalk in order to enjoy #MARCHintosh today it got a nice RAM upgrade to 17MB!
Happy #Marchintosh! Added a recently new to me restored server to my server rack, getting it setup to participate in the #GlobalTalk Network! #BlueSCSI makes it easy for these things!
Had some me time this evening while watching @DavesVintageAppleTech stream to build some new tech for my Apple IIe. Built several of these A2Pico cards based on Ralle Palaveev’s v2.7 design, but with some adjustments I made to reduce component costs with parts I already have in stock. https://github.com/oliverschmidt/a2pico #appleii #retrocomputing

Found a few moments yesterday to test a new (to me) Mac Plus motherboard I picked up for $15. It’s working perfectly and is in great condition and included the maximum 4 megabytes of RAM.

I’ve got a cool project in mind for this, can’t wait to build it and show it off.

Also took the opportunity to complete a physical inspection of my #Macintosh Plus, upgraded it from 2.5MB to 4MB and perform the SCSI Termination power mod to power my #BlueSCSI storage device. #retrocomputing #vintagemac

Recapped my IIci Cache Card tonight, next is the IIci itself, lol! #vintagecomputing #recapped #classicmac #retrocomputing
Finally got around to working on repairing my Mac LC II power supply this evening, replacing the leaking capacitors. It now boots up, but next up is replacing the leaking surface mount electrolytic capacitors on the logic board to get it rock solid and prevent further damage. #retrocomputing #vintagemac
I hope it arrives unscathed!!!
