It is embarrassing that Metro Van is one of the only places in Canada without a low-income transit pass.

While the BC Bus Pass Program provides discounted transit passes for some low-income seniors and people with disabilities, it doesn’t go far enough. We’re pushing for it to include ALL low-income people in our region.
Join us in making it happen before July 1.

If you haven’t already heard, transit fares are going up again in July by 5%. This increase will hit hardest those already struggling to make ends meet.

Send a quick comment of support for Item 5. Bus To Move: Prioritizing Transit Trouble Spots for Snow and Ice Removal. Share your story of being stranded in the snow and why this motion matters to you.
You can also sign up to speak to council if you register before 5pm, Feb 3rd. Remember, elected officials work for you and they need to hear from transit riders like you!
