Some of my #history research is about WWI & WWII poster art. The Library of Congress is a great resource for these. Many are available for use without restriction.

This WWII poster by Phil Von Phul was published by a US Navy & WPA unit (13th Naval District) in Seattle, ca 1941. It's part of a series.

Stamping out fascism was a goal held by many around the world in those challenging years.

May it ever be so. Refute autocrats & their enablers at every opportunity & in every place they rise.

As Election Day approaches, a reminder that democracy is a collective effort. Take a look at this Rosie riveting a plane and remember...votes are like rivets - they can hold things together. Use your voice...use your vote. We can do it!

About the photo: A woman riveter at the Boeing plant in Seattle attaches a sheet of the gleaming outer covering of a fuselage section for a new B-17 F (Flying Fortress) bomber. December 1942.
