@dominikdresden zu spät... aber lustig. #Konklave #Merz
@grimm
Was meinst du mit Menschheit? Wieviel braucht denn der Regenwald etc.? Also das, was wir als Natur bezeichnen.

I live in an environment where people mostly only think about themselves and their families. I also work in a team that hasn't even begun to understand modern forms of teamwork. Commoning can only function without private property on a small scale: kibutz, ashram. Hardly realistic given the increasing urbanization.

Too much utopia.
Humans live to satisfy their own needs. To do so, they must consume.
Social behavior is secondary. But that would have to be assumed in order to implement new economic and political concepts, not just theorize them.
It's much easier to wage war. Even though everyone knows there are no winners.
@thedarkener
That's true, but utopia, because there are no possibilities for human beeings!!! Humans are not Robots. People are only capable of using their minds to a limited extent.
And we have already exhausted these limits over the centuries.
@smlckz @breadandcircuses
You've already answered that yourself. It's a utopia.
The Kingdom of Heaven on earth will not exist. The human mind is too weak to acquire the paradise it was never allowed to possess.
The Old Testament is full of attempts: Cain and Abel, the Flood, the Tower of Babel, the time of the Judges and the Kings...
They also made Jesus a scapegoat. His followers, upon gaining power, continued this series of failed attempts.
And (spiritually) here we are.
@thedarkener
It's not good to answer a question with a counter-question.
I've had experiences with both real existing socialism and the social market economy. The former was a utopia and couldn't work. The latter corresponds to the millennia-old concept of economics.
And that only includes the supposed paradise on earth for the rich. There are no more alternatives to life. Capitalism is the nature of human being.
