#LadyJustice by Dahlia Lithwick is a MUST READ, in my opinion, for anyone interested the amazing efforts made by women lawyers to promote freedom and rights for American women. It's about the personal and professional experience of women who stepped up to fight back. Much of it focuses on the Tump presidency. I'm about half way through.

My poodle Milly cuddles with us on cold nights. By day she bounces about sniffing everything, unless she’s asleep in a random spot or barking to alert us of the enormous danger created by the Amazon guy, As lovely as these things are, they're not the bits that breaks my heart. Everyday my husband sits down in an enormous chair and opens a book. She pokes her head under his elbow and he, without looking up, begins to stroke her head.

Not a fan of Puritans, but I do love Thanksgiving, especially the stuffing and the whole idea of being grateful. So I'd like to say I am thankful for this place. It's an island of peace, fun, and creativity. Some times I enter twitching as a result of world events, but I always leave with a smile. Thank you all.
My poodle also loves Thanksgiving, but mostly for the turkey and all the kids to play with.
