Why did I do this poll? Because I’m in an amazing UK #NHS Cardiac Care Unit after having recently had a massive heart attack and not ended in some morgue. My heart is now permanently weakened as the muscle that was starved of blood by a blocked artery is now dead. I survived it because the other parts of my heart are in good shape and I had great primary medical care. If I’d being doing regular #cholesterol checks I could have been on meds and changed my lifestyle to avoid such a trauma.💔
Anyone test their blood Cholesterol recently?

When UI design fails. This is the ScrewFix App after clicking on Swift Delivery. A) The bottom line of words is cut off so I have not idea what the warning is about. B) no “back” button. So the only way back is to crash the app and start again! 🤦🏻‍♂️ #Screwfix

Have updated the internet setup at our static home. Someone has been taking my wifi advice and turned off a few 2.4GHz radios on their new Unifi install at the clubhouse 500m away. Have swung the #MikroTik LHG52 round a bit and found a 5GHz SSID I can connect to very well. Have also added an old LHG-LTE as a quick test backup. If tests for a couple of days show it works ok, I’ll order an ATL and sort out the CAT5 mess. Both LHGs are powered by a PowerBox with recursive routing for failover. 👌

@finlaydag33k @mikrotik @AngelaScholder Instead of having one SSID for each VLAN, one can also have a single SSID and assign different clients to dynamic VLANs. Due to the amount of airtime taken by each SSID beacon eating into available client airtime, the number of SSIDs/VLANs is typically limited to no more than 4 per radio. With one SSID (one beacon) you can have hundreds of dynamic VLANs. Needs RADIUS which RouterOS v7 User Manager provides.
@finlaydag33k With less than 3 APs all with the same SSID, IoS won’t roam unless signal has seriously deteriorated. It’s a sort of “home roaming mode” / “Sticky Client mode”. At 3 APs or more IoS roams earlier at a higher signal level. A sort of “Enterprise roaming mode”. Dunno about Android. How they roam is not so openly published. Also roaming or not will be based on active traffic levels. It’s not just signal level alone. (Plug: I teach this and more in my @mikrotik MTCEWE classes 😀)
