Have updated the internet setup at our static home. Someone has been taking my wifi advice and turned off a few 2.4GHz radios on their new Unifi install at the clubhouse 500m away. Have swung the #MikroTik LHG52 round a bit and found a 5GHz SSID I can connect to very well. Have also added an old LHG-LTE as a quick test backup. If tests for a couple of days show it works ok, I’ll order an ATL and sort out the CAT5 mess. Both LHGs are powered by a PowerBox with recursive routing for failover. 👌

Home made hot butternut squash soup from thermos flasks, bread and obviously warm thick coats, woollen hats and blankets sitting with my partner’s family by the sea in bitterly cold wintery conditions. Couldn’t be happier. Refreshing. 😀 #Whitstable

Went into local store In Canterbury and told them the story. What a massive improvement in attitude. They were on the phone immediately with the baker. They will deliver another identical wedding cake to us for the 24th and the best before date will be the 31st. For free. Asked what we should do with the existing cake we have? Eat it! They don’t want it back. Plus the staff also gave us a large bunch of flowers as an apology for the stress caused. Waitose Canterbury we love you. 😀 #Waitrose.

We bought our wedding cake from Waitrose. Website states it must be ordered 21 days or more before the day it’s required. So we did. It arrived yesterday exactly 21 days from the day I ordered it. Wedding is on the 29th. Loads of time. Except the cake has a ‘best before date’ of the 24th! But we couldn’t order the cake to arrive the week before wedding as the bakery is shut over Xmas with no deliveries between 19th and 29th Dec. Phoned their call centre. Waste of time that was. 1/2 #Waitrose
