I read 2337 query letters this year and have signed 4 new clients in 2022 so far. I have 32 requested fulls yet to read before I can reopen to queries. Looking forward to a new year!

@ajbenso It changes all the time, but the biggest recent change seems to be editors overwhelmed and overworked.

@Michaelvaliant It is very common to close for the holidays and to also avoid #nanomowri manuscripts 😄. Gives writers more time to polish.

@shawnproctor I would nudge once more and maybe again at 9 months. A lot of agents are overwhelmed so six months isn't outside the normal realm. I try to respond in four months for a full.
