@Rob_l 👍👍👍 What you're saying is really interesting. I was also a marathon runner for about 30 years. After doctors forbade me from doing that sport due to my joint problems (osteoarthritis), I discovered paddling almost by chance. Since then, I've been a passionate paddler – mainly with Prijon boats (sea and whitewater kayaks) as well as a Vajda racing kayak.
@Rob_l An inflatable boat is better suited for calm waters and less so for whitewater. From what I understand, you're a whitewater paddler and not a rafting enthusiast, so I wouldn't recommend such a boat. I personally use a polyethylene boat for whitewater paddling.
