The country's going to shit and a lot of people will suffer very soon, but for the time being I'm glad I can at least get a little joy out of my job.

I was tired of just putting a bunch of logos up for a featured article image. So I took a photo of some toys instead.

Every tech site is covering the big Amazon sale. Lots of other sites, too. I wrote up deals just like everyone else.

Web writers HAVE to do this. The affiliate revenue from these big sales keeps the lights on. And there are so many deal posts that it's basically impossible for us to use and recommend each one, even if we cover that niche.

Finally got out on the river for the first time this year. My new Crescent Primo has been itching for a run, did 20 miles in 5 hours. Having real foot support (instead of the little stairs molded into the body) made a huge difference.

I also like how high it sits. It's a little tippy for a sit-on-top, but it slides over everything in just a couple of inches of water.
