It's time for two Christmas eve listening traditions! Tom Baker reading A Christmas Carol and The Chimes of Midnight from #BigFinish. Stories from Dickens and Shearman… what a treat!

Seems like the perfect night to watch some classic #DoctorWho…

The earliest known instance of #DoctorWho isn’t as good as it used to be — Mary Crozier writing after seeing the second ever broadcast episode, "The Cave of Skulls", for The Guardian on 2 December 1963.

Two #DoctorWho novelisations from a short-lived Target line about the Pertwee Doctor's love of wine.
I obsessed over this brief, one-page article in TIME magazine when it came out in January 1984. This was the first time I ever saw #DoctorWho mentioned in American media. When I saw it in a doctor's office, coincidentally, I asked the person at the front desk if I could tear out the page. Sure, no problem. Yay! I have it still some where in my childhood archives, but this image is from https://cuttingsarchive.org/index.php/Who%27s_Who_in_outer_space .

Tegan’s Handbag from Doctor Who: Logopolis

This bag is one of two. This one was given to Janet Fielding by producer JNT along with the costume. The other belongs to the costume designer June Hudson and Mark Barton Hill. Janet understands that both were used in the show.
