My mental health this week is so much better than it has been lately. I credit a lot of it to my mom's health improving, but it also helps that I've stayed away from the birdsite in favor of this - everyone here is so positive and considerate with the hiding negativity behind warnings! I just love it.
#knitting going slow as I'm freeforming this scarf with a lacy drop stitch, taking notes as I go, if it turns out well I may write it up as a pattern.
....Having one of those days where the world really wants to remind me that the majority of people where I live are bigots. First a homophobic client, then a coworker saying, and I quote "They're shooting each other while we're working" (where it's clear the "they" are POCs), then another client going on a rant about ethnic names...specifically the name "Charlotta" which isn't . . . her definition of "ethnic"?
I love my home, I love my farm. Sometimes it's hard to love the neighbors.
