Dare ObasanjoThis is an extremely useful framework for evaluating automation from Paul Kedrosky’s “AI is not good enough” essay.
I particularly liked pointing out how some automation is high displacement meaning lots of workers get fired but low productivity meaning the gains are incremental. Call center software os a great example. The user experience doesn’t get better, it’s just running call centers gets cheaper.
#RebelMoon certainly looks a lot more promising than a rehash of the Seven Samurai that it had been billed as. Hope all the cool shit isn’t relegated to flashbacks or the opening 5 minutes.

There was also the night , while out in a pub crawl in Dublin, that we found her MTV VMA moon man behind the bar. She’d sold it for charity years before and the bar owner had bought it.
Cue ALL the checkout ladies going into simultaneous rapture and fussing over her.
My one Sinéad O'Connor story is that while grocery shopping in Stephen’s green centre years ago, the checkout lady said “God aren’t you the spit of yer wan Sinead O'Connor” to the woman in front of me with the tight haircut and two kids, to which she replied “ I am her”.
