Loving all the nerdy things. Product manager by day, Tabletop RPGer, brewer, husband and pet caretaker the rest of the time. He/him.

I think @gruber lost the thread a little bit with his post today about TiVo shutting down DVRs.

I was also an early adopter 25 years ago. The thing that I keep coming back to, is that TiVo 1.0 was a far better product than any other watch later device available today a full generation later.

DVR is just another technology that's been fully enshittified. That's the real shame.

@tvaziri at least they’re not flash.
@kasdeya I’ll put in a plug for Twelve Sided Stories. They are explicitly a story focus actual play. Wes the GM is a professional sound engineer so the production is top notch as well.
Exquisite. No notes.

@RPGBOT ride down the elevator at this Hilton with you this morning. Thanks for this resource!

Best game of the con was Ruins of Symbaroum last night. One of the top con games I’ve played.

@Alphastream I got to play Ruins of Symbaroum at #GameHoleCon and it was in the top three best con games I played. Great GM. Great players.
@Alphastream I was sitting at the next table playing The One Ring. Sorry I wasn’t able to say hi. We’ve played a few games together back in the 4e era.
