Two paths to gear: drop something useful, or craft what you actually want. Crafting is the deeper path. Every tier of gear gets real investment now.

Working on the Tier 1 boss fight in Hexstride.
3 changes I'm playtesting tonight:
Venom pool spawns where slime jumps FROM (not lands). Permanent.
Splits on death: spawns 3 mob groups.
Exit: kill boss + all mobs.
Might be too brutal. Will tune.
