Very worried that last generation who will know a healthy earth has already been born. There is no plan b for when we make our planet uninhabitable; so let's not do that.

Yes my fellow follower, you need to follow @uselessness
For Farage et al Brexit is the grifting that keeps on giving.
Until Labour confront the lies and misrepresentations that flow from Ukip/Brexit/Reform rather than clothing themselves in anti-immigrant / little Englander policies then the Far right will continue to strengthen its grip on the narrative and the media
The rise of larger vehicles like SUVs and pickup trucks, with their taller hoods and larger blind zones, has contributed to a 75% increase in pedestrian and cyclist deaths since 2009.
Until we design better streets and ban these vehicles, people outside these vehicles will keep dying.
Okay, #Introduction time apparently.
My name is Lyss, I'm a design student that found this place by talking to a random American that turned out to be a bad influence. They know who they are.
Popular demand says I needed to share cat pictures so here's me with Naira who never cuddles with me, it was so adorable I almost cried.
oh um... #CatsofMastodon #cats . I was told to do that.

I live in London. So grids - nah. I am South of the River (a big divide for London) but in "the Borough" of Southwark - which is almost as old as the city. Totally spaghetti in terms of road layout.
I am constantly stuck by the rectilinear shapes of lots of "new world" cyclists' Strava etc maps of rides

Just checked - I have GBP 25, credit card and debit card in wallet. I should also have gbp50 in saddle bag and 20 quid rolled up within handlebars.
I literally cannot remember the last time I paid cash for anything - but I think it was my library fines a few months back

Real money - not much now. In UK almost every where takes plastic - I encounter more vendors who don't deal with cash than don't take plastic .
This is especially common with small one person businesses like food stall, coffee kiosks, etc (the staple of wandering cyclists). There is an overhead percentage but no need for float, ease of accounting, and no fear of thug with knife days work
