December 7 update on the Hope Giving Circle:

💔 For the first time ever, we couldn't distribute to a single family last week due to lack of support. But today marks seven months of the giving circle, and we're so grateful for your help this year; it's been nothing less than life-saving for these families.

⚠️ Their urgent needs are ongoing: four women with medical emergencies; winter supplies as three of the families and the entire camp are stranded in tents in the rain; upcoming rent; newborn needs; food in still-famine. We're grateful for any new and renewed support as survival remains a challenge.

🤝🏾 Giving update: Giving is down 70% since the "ceasefire." Donations are almost solely coming from the 189 members of the giving circle, covering only 58% of our weekly minimum. The highest-impact way to help is to click "weekly" or "monthly" on your donation.

sadly I don’t have one or feel competent enough to try so here’s an animal features adjacent character 🐾

Avant les ordis, on dessinait en faisant des taches partout et en attendant que ça sèche. Notre Manchu national et son acrylique somptueuse peint des merveilles de SF depuis 50 ans, et a travaillé avec à peu près tous les éditeurs de la place (et sur Ulysse 31 ou Il Était Une Fois L’Espace). Étrangement il reste injustement sous les radars, dans l’ombre des Mœbius et autres Bilal. Heureusement on peut se rattraper en précommandant ces très beaux livres.
