Tries to convince people to change the right bits from 0 to 1 or vice versa as a job. Atheism is just a consequence of only believing stuff for which there is evidence. Married, 1 child. Worried that said child will have a horrible life because my generation produces carbon dioxide like there is no tomorrow.

Yes, this sounds a bit like whataboutism, but it‘s not meant to. It‘s just making me angry that we can shrug about climate change while whining about the AI apocalypse. The later can happen with a small probability. The former is already happening, and still we just continue burning fossil fuels. I just don’t get it.

Something that regularly makes me angry:

There‘s masses of flesh machines with a limited „intelligence“. They use this „intelligence“ to torture and kill all species on their planet and to burn stuff until their planet heats too much for them to survive. Then a few of them create silicon-based machines with limited „intelligence“. All that these do is give more or less helpful advice to the flesh machines. And the flesh machines go „THESE AIs WILL DESTROY US!“.

Nope. We are. Fast. Nearly done.

#Witkoff has just said that if deal is agreed, #Russia will “legally guarantee #Ukraine security”.

As a reminder Russia has already “legally guaranteed” Ukraine’s security in 1994 Budapest Memorandum, “legally guaranteed” Ukraine’s borders in 1999 Friendship Treaty and then confirmed their demarcation in a number of bilateral agreements it signed before 2014.

That should tell you everything about how much Russia’s “legal guarantees” are worth…

CDU-Generalsekretär Linnemann meint, die Stimmung im Land sei "derzeit nicht so gut".

Als Gegenmittel fordert er (wieder mal) eine "Einfach-mal-machen-Mentalität" für "ganz Deutschland".

Aha.

Einfach mal eine Richterwahl ansetzen, ohne die nötigen Stimmen abzusichern? Einfach mal die versprochene Stromsteuersenkung kippen? Einfach immer weiter Scheiße bauen und dann doof gucken, wenn's stinkt?

Casi, meinst du echt, das bessert die Stimmung?

Mein Tipp: Einfach mal NACHDENKEN vor dem Machen!

Kolumne: Wirtschaftsministerin Katherina Reiche hat dem Anschein nach mit einem sehr konkreten Ziel einen Bericht bestellt - den Ausbau der erneuerbaren Energien abzubremsen, weil der angeblich zu schnell gehe und damit zu hohe Kosten verursache. Das wäre ein grober Fehler.
