Trying out the Duck Duck Go browser on my phone as an alternative to Chrome.
Totally just made my own day by using the expression "John Hancock" when talking to one of my bosses.

During the staff meeting, I complained that our benefit package was biased against Americans because injuries from "war, riots, and insurrection" aren't covered.

"There go my weekends."

[now that I've actually finished it] Also, it has me thinking about issues of consumption of the past and appropriation.
I'll be honest. I started reading Ametora because I like the Japanese take on American menswear. Near the end, I'm primarily thinking about markets, brands, and influence. In a way, that makes it a better book about business history than the actual business history book that I'm reading.
Or for curation, which is more my scene. We need better integration. Are there share extensions for Firefox or Chrome? How are you linking accounts?
Back to content: It strikes me that there's an opportunity for new content creators to make a name. Mastodon is a small pond, may be friendlier towards smaller fish. Let them grow.
