One of my favorite spots on a rainy day: the horticulture library at the SF Botanical Garden #sanfrancisco

There was a horrific crash here this week where an entire family was wiped out by a driver going 50-70mph on city streets prior to hitting a bus stop where a family was waiting for the bus to the zoo. We've already heard from the mayor that she isn't sure this qualifies as a Vision Zero issue, but IT IS no matter what the details are. We shouldn't have streets where it's that easy to get up to 70mph. My modest proposal for a street redesign:

I finally saw a Cybertruck

We grew a big variety of sunflowers this year and my favorite so far is the "teddy bear" which has this memorable bloom. The entire plant is less than knee-height! #plants #gardening #sanfrancisco
