Did I tell you about the time I tried to read "Fourth Wing"? I esp. loved the part where the MC is so scared that they calm themselves by recounting the entire world's backstory. I've seen less clunky world-building on Minecraft, cha-cha.

As someone indicated in an earlier post, Mastodon is *heavily* skewed towards IT types.
This is good for some things—but not general interest topics (Art & Culture, Politics, Human Interest).
With other platforms now—AND going back ~20+ yrs (BBs, pre-algo FB, Twitter)—my engagement rates were always pretty constant everywhere else.
Until here, where it is a fraction. Just the nature of the beast. Post something about your 10100111001 code and you'll be fine.
