The thing about #Fender guitars is that you never find a single one that is actually original. Except for rare cases, these are always platforms. Different pickups, custom necks, new saddles. There’s no such a thing as a genuine Fender Stratocaster.
I just discovered something interesting…
@javahippie Yes, I know! Last year I bought a squier for my daughter and plays better than any guitar I ever played, perfect neck, great action and super resonant body and a joy to play, which is outstanding given I paid it 250 euros. I think this happens.
Wrong answers only: You are Edward Cole just appointed CEO of Fender and the first thing you do is to address the quality control issues that have been plaguing Fender instruments (which most likely means underpaid/overworked workers and cheap supply chain).
@lasombra_br That’s a bit late for me given the number of Fender guitars that already abducted my money over the years :) also complicated because of Fender owning essentially everything, from Presonus to Gretsch.
WTF #fender, come on, you were the good guys, don’t throw it all away.
Dick Parry was responsible for some of the most iconic music that formed the soundtrack of my life, he will be dearly missed. Sit tibi terra levis.
@Dancingvalentine Yes, I’m looking forward for the full album and hopefully a tour!
@Dancingvalentine I love Peter Gabriel and it’s difficult to find a “best album” from his incredible career (including the Genesis), but So is probably the closest to that, what a dauntingly beautiful piece of art.
