Sigh... godfuckingdamnit. Setting up my new System76 pop!_OS box was going well until I ran the firmware update, I think? Or, after a hibernation failed to awake after the firmware update to be more precise. Now I'm bootlooping in recovery and when the OS does somehow load about half the hardware isn't recognized. Near as I can tell without taking the very dense case apart every cable is snug.
I was having a suspiciously easy time moving my computing life to Linux until this.
Should I make a live boot media and try from there? Or flash the firmware back a version? Or just ship it back to System76 and tell them send it back when it's good again lol. I bought a pre-built for a reason this time.
