Received a late-life diagnosis with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attendtion-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) two years ago, and am still learning about the implications on my life.

#Representation in media matters. The more minorities are presented in media, the more they feel seen. For #NeurodiverityCelebrationWeek, I want to recognise #StarWars for having a character with #ADHD in 1977. R5-D4 was bought by Luke’s Uncle, but as the droid rolled to its new owners, it ground to a halt with smoke pouring from its top. Luke examines the droid, saying "This R2 unit has a bad motivator." If there's ever a description of ADHD, it's having a bad motivator! #RepresentationMatters
